Welcome to the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival Application Portal on ArtsApp



Deadline to Submit Your Application and Audition:

January 13, 2012 by 5pm Eastern


Bang on a Can faculty and will review your recorded audition as well as your completed application. We are not able to offer feedback on recorded auditions due to the volume of applicants.


Step One 
Refer to the Audition requirements and information for Applicants (PDF Download) before submitting your materials. You will also be reminded of these requirements in ArtsApp before you upload your work. Step Two 
: Register with ArtsApp, and verify your email address after registration.


Step Three :

1. Select your program on My Dashboard >> Current Opportunities. Here you will choose your Instrument(s) and/or indicate whether you are a composer
2. Fill out the Bang on a Can Application form on ArtsApp.
3. After filling out the Application form, you may upload your portfolio materials on My Dashboard >> My Applications. Click the Add Files button to begin uploading exerpts/solos for your instrument. PLEASE NOTE THE MAX NUMBER OF FILES ALLOWED TO BE UPLOADED FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT.
4. Pay the $40 application fee on the My Credits Tab.
5. Once Materials are Uploaded, Click the "NEXT" button to finalize your submission

Note: The ArtsApp Submission fee for Bang on a Can is $40 per application.
