December 1, 2011 at 11:59pm CT: Prescreening deadline for Flute, Violin, Voice, Conducting, and Artist Diploma
December 9, 2011 at 11:59pm CT: Final Audition deadline for Trustee and MLK Scholar applicants
January 1, 2012 at 11:59pm CT: Final Audition deadline for all other applicants; Prescreening deadline for Opera Institute
Step One: Complete the Boston University School of Music Application. The online application is due January 1, 2012 for most applicants. All Conducting and Artist Diploma Applications must be received by December 1, 2011.
Step Two: Refer to the Audition requirements for your program before submitting your materials. You will also be reminded of these requirements in ArtsApp before you upload your work.
Step Three: Upload audition recordings and scores through this ArtsApp portal. These materials will be reviewed as part of the application process. If you are a new applicant on ArtsApp, click the 'Register' link to the right to begin. Once you've signed in, use the following steps to complete your submission:
1. Select your program on My Dashboard >> Current Opportunities. You will choose your Division, and Discipline.
2. After selecting your program, you will be on My Dashboard >> My Applications. Add a title, and notes (optional) to your submission. Click the Add Files button to begin uploading work, or import work from a previous submission.
3. Make sure to read the requirements for your program.
4. Pay the $10 fee via our payment processor.
5. Once materials are attached, hit "NEXT" to finalize your submission.
Note: The ArtsApp Submission fee for the Boston University School of Music is $10 per portfolio submitted.
