After creating an ArtsApp UserID and password, applicants should fill out their basic information including preferred audition date, upload all applicable media for classification (resume, statement of purpose, video, composition portfolio, etc.) then submit completed application. 


Applicants will not be able to upload any files after submitting an application through ArtsApp.

All Undergraduate and MM Band/Orchestra Instrument Areas:

Spring 2013 Entrance Deadlines: 

  • Friday, October 19, 2012: Application due date for Saturday, November 3, 2012 Audition

  • Friday, November 2, 2012: Application due date for Recorded Audition Submissions
Fall 2013 Entrance Deadlines:

  • Friday, January 25, 2013: Application due date for Saturday, February 9, 2013 audition

  • Friday, February 15, 2013: Application due date for Saturday, March 2 or Sunday, March 3, 2013

  • Friday, March 1, 2013: Application due date for Recorded Audition Submissions



Pre-Screening Video/Portfolio Deadlines for Voice, Performer's Certificate, DMA Piano, DMA Composition & DMA Conducting Areas:

Spring 2013 Entrance Deadlines:

  • Friday October 5, 2012: Application due date for Saturday, November 3, 2012 Audition 

  • Friday, November 2, 2012: Application due date for Recorded Audition Submissions



Fall 2013 Entrance Deadlines: 

  • Friday, January 11, 2013: Application due date for Saturday, February 9, 2013 Audition
  • Friday, February 1, 2013: Application due date for Friday, March 1, 2013 Audition (Performer's Certificate ONLY) 
  • Friday, February 1, 2013: Application due date for Saturday, March 2 or Sunday, March 3, 2013 Audition
  • Friday, March 1, 2013: Application due date for Recorded Audition Submissions
     

 

MM and DMA Music Education Applications:

Spring 2013 Entrance Deadlines:

  • Friday November 2, 2012 (MM and DMA Applicants)



Fall 2013 Entrance Deadlines:
  • Friday March 1, 2013 (DMA Applicants)
  • Monday, April 1, 2013 (MM Applicants)


NOTE: All Moores School of Music Applicants must ALSO apply for admission to University of Houston (Main Campus, College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences) at http://applytexas.org. For undergraduates wanting to be considered for academic scholarships, a complete application (all applicable transcripts & test scores) MUST be received by Admissions by the Priority Deadline.

Spring 2013 Admission: November 1, 2012
Fall 2013 Admission (Priority Deadline): December 1, 2012
Fall 2013 Admission (Final Deadline): April 1, 2013


Application Instructions: Click Register to the right, or login with your existing ArtsApp account. Then, upload audition recordings though this ArtsApp portal. These materials will be reviewed as part of the application process.

Note: There is no cost to submit your materials through this portal.
